The Corset...NOT a dieting tool!

Every now and again, I like to treat myself to some fantasy online shopping (you know: when you shop around, fill up your cart but don't actually buy anything?) and it is usually for beautiful lingerie and of course: CORSETS!

However, last time I did this I encountered a first....a horrifying, unbelievable first.

On this one websites 'info' page, there was an article dedicated to informing their clients that corsets should not be used as dieting tools or appetite suppressants. WHAT?!?! Who could possibly think of the corset in such a terrible light?

Well, it would appear that plenty do, because the site even went on to mention that they were tired of receiving questions from their audience about which corsets could be laced the tightest in order to help them control their appetites.

Ladies, please let me take this opportunity to say that curves are just delicious! Men love them, women should be proud of them and if any of us ever feel that there are a few pounds we could afford to spare it certainly isn't through the use of a corset.

This gorgeous, genius garment was created to accentuate the waist, to narrow it so that a woman's hips and bust will appear larger and rounder in comparison to that delicate little middle, no matter how much one weighs! Its all about the hourglass. That is sexy...not trying to starve yourself into some unnatural shape.

One of my favourite quotes to close off today's entry: "bones are for dogs...real men appreciate curves".
