Happy New Year! - 03 January 2012

My beloved readers, I wish you all the very best in this New Year!

After giving it a good deal of thought, I really no longer see the appeal of creating 'New Year's Resolutions'. I mean, why do we put so much hope and importance on this one particular day as far as life changes are concerned? Do we really believe that the chances of succeeding are greater if they start with the fresh start of a New Year? Are we suggesting that it is impossible to revamp our lives or at least our lifestyles on any other day of the year?

It sort of scares me because the day itself doesn't offer any guarantee results. Why does the 1st of January promise anything more than the 14th of May?

I've always believed that change needs to be something that YOU want to achieve. No day will promise that more unless it is that day the you are truly ready for change.

Have any of you come up with any resolutions for 2012? I would love to know why you believe that the 1st day of the year promises greater results than any other day.
